EMG was engaged by Au Bon Pain to manage their Add-on Build program resulting from the decision to expand their “Serve Yourself” menu in Boston and New York hospital-based locations. The menu expansion offers customers a more convenient approach to fresh food on the go, which required new equipment, branded signage, and related augmentation.
Having worked on the Au Bon Pain portfolio, EMG’s background with their previous New Builds and general familiarity with the restaurant group were key to bringing on EMG for this opportunity. EMG’s trusted expertise and experience with restaurant remodels in non-traditional site locations also helped to set up Au Bon Pain with 18 Add-on Builds, while achieving expectations and meeting scheduled due dates. Each Add-on Build took two days or less and the Au Bon
Pain locations remained open for business.
