Claude Limoges
Chairman of the Board
Claude Limoges transitioned to Chairman of the Board, from the CEO, in December 2016. Claude is the majority owner of EMG. As founder and CEO of Progressive Environmental, LLC, which merged with EMG in 2005, Claude brought his organizational and technical expertise for expanded environmental assessment and remediation protocols, lead paint and asbestos inspection services, project software design, and professional training programs to EMG. During his professional career, Claude has successfully developed multiple enterprises, and also has been an active direct investor in commercial real estate. His visionary leadership as CEO has transformed EMG into North America’s leading provider of technical site assessment services.
Claude also co-founded and currently leads the National Engineering and Environmental Due Diligence Association (NEEDA), a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization formed to promote the common interests of engineering and environmental consulting firms who provide due diligence for real estate transactions.
With over 25 years of experience, his expertise and track record in the commercial real estate industry has earned him a strong reputation as a leader and advocate for best practices among his peers, clients and colleagues.
Claude holds a Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York in Albany and maintains numerous industry-related certifications from the State of Pennsylvania.


Nestor Benavides
CEO
Nestor, a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Maryland, has more than 25 years of experience in Engineering & Operations Management, as well as Strategic Planning and Business Development in both public and private sectors. Nestor transitioned from President to CEO in December 2016.
During his professional career, Nestor guided and participated in Strategic Planning & Business Development efforts for start-up companies as well as various divisions of The Procter & Gamble Company. He led the R&D and Operations efforts for 180s “Inc. Magazine’s 2003, 9th Fastest Growing Company in the US” which grew from $3 million to $47 million in 5 years. He has led the master-planning, design, construction and startup of factories and facilities for Procter & Gamble in various countries including India and China, and led programs with Bechtel, Flour Daniel and Lockwood Green Engineering Companies.
In his prior role as COO, Nestor optimized the operational execution of EMG to deliver record profitability in 2007 . He was promoted to President at the end of that year. He is focused on delivering EMG’s Strategic Plans and is directly involved in overall business development efforts, including the company’s fast growing Capital Planning Division. He drives our strategy for intelligent, ethical, and profitable growth. Nestor is passionate about maintaining an organization grounded in mutual respect, and committed to the development of every employee.


Ronald F. Stupi
President
Ron was promoted to President of EMG in December 2016. Ron manages client relationships and engagement with the organization’s client portfolio, which is comprised of 30+ Fortune 100 retail organizations including national retailers, Top 30 U.S. lending institutions, and large REITs. His responsibilities include operations, market positioning, budgeting and forecasting, capital planning, business remodeling, and he oversees the development of the sales and marketing team, HR division, and accounting unit. He is also responsible for the continued growth of the company’s assets through acquisition and divestiture. Ron was the former Principal, and Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for EMG (Quality Project Management, LLC, ) since 2000. QPM is the company with which EMG merged in fall, 2014.
Ron is an accomplished business development professional with over 20 years of retail real estate, strategic planning, and program and project management at both the regional and national levels. Prior to joining QPM, Ron served as the director of real estate and strategic planning with TravelCenters of America, the country’s largest full service truck stop and travel center chain. His career also includes serving as director of real estate for the western region of TOSCO (now ConocoPhillips), the largest independent refining and marketing company in the United States; and a stint at British Petroleum (BP) where he managed environmental issues surrounding petroleum-impacted real estate, and later moved into acquisition and divestment in Ohio and other areas of the Midwest.
In addition to his executive career, Ron is a Board Member for EMG, and he has held a seat on the Advisory Board of RestaurantPoint (a component of the ConnectingPoint Marketing Group). He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, CoreNet Global, Commercial Construction & Renovation People, USGBC, Executive Specs, and the City of Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. He is a past member of the Retail Facility Maintenance Association and IFMA.
A proven industry thought leader, Ron was profiled in Commercial Construction Magazine’s “Retail Leaders,” and he has been featured in a number of industry magazines. Some of his speaking engagements include the Visiting Executive Program at The University of Findlay, Retail Leaders for Commercial Construction Magazine, and Business Classes at Pinnacle High School. Ron is the author of “Perspectives,” a company newsletter that reaches more than 400 industry leaders.
Ron obtained his BS from The University of Findlay with a major in Business & Marketing and a minor in Hazardous Materials Management in 1991.


Justin Arias
Director of Environmental Division
Justin Arias is the Director of the Environmental Division for EMG. Since 2004, Mr. Arias has managed comprehensive environmental services for real estate lifecycle planning and management, including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Vapor Encroachment Screenings, Phase II Subsurface Investigations, asbestos inspections, lead inspections and more for clients nationwide. His oversight responsibilities include the delivery of real-time data and investment-grade reports on-time and on-budget for owners and lenders.
Mr. Arias offers significant environmental industry experience to private and public sector clients ranging from single sites to large portfolios both nationally and abroad. He has participated in professional conferences on Due Diligence and ASTM 1527. Mr. Arias has a B.S. degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.


Greg Bailey
Director of A&E Division
As Director of the A&E Division at EMG, Mr. Bailey brings more than 25 years of Architectural, Engineering, and Energy consulting experience. His prime responsibilities at EMG include managing Property Condition Assessments worldwide within hotel chains, commercial establishments, healthcare facilities, and multi-family housing developments. Additional experience includes managing Facility Condition Assessments, Building Forensic Studies, Energy Benchmarking Studies, Renewable Energy Feasibility Studies, and Energy Audits for clients in various market segments, including but not limited to Commercial, Multi-Family Housing, Industrial, Hospitality, Government, Research Laboratory, Higher Education, and K-12 Schools.
Over his due diligence career, Mr. Bailey has been responsible for program level management of large technical projects from the request for proposal to project close-out. Key clients have included Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Affordable Housing Preservation (OAHP), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Department of Homeland Security, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Department of Energy – Oak Ridge National Laboratories (ORNL), and District of Columbia Public Schools. He has personally assessed hundreds of complex buildings utilizing comprehensive environmental, engineering, energy, and architectural assessment principles. In addition, Mr. Bailey has conducted Facility Condition Assessments within the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) in Albuquerque, NM, and ORNL in Oak Ridge, TN that included creation of a detailed tablet PC-based field data collection platform.
Mr. Bailey holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering Project Management, Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, and Associate of Arts degree in Architectural Engineering. He is certified in infrared thermography and provides training and lectures in numerous specialized fields of expertise. He has been a member of the EMG team for 12 years, and is based in Baltimore, MD.


Robin Cook
COO
As Chief Operating Officer, Robin Cook is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of EMG. Ms. Cook has been with EMG since 2005 and has worked in the environmental, engineering and remediation industry since 1980. Ms. Cook’s operations and project management background provides EMG clients with high quality services and products delivered on-time.
Ms. Cook holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and Technology from the University of Maryland and she is a member of SAME and an affiliate member of the Environmental Bankers Association (EBA). Prior to joining EMG, Ms. Cook worked for Halliburton NUS, Radian International, Dow Environmental and URS managing national and global environmental and engineering consulting services for commercial and Federal clients.


Gustavo Guerrero
Director of Project Management Division
Since 1998, when Gus joined Quality Project Management, LLC, (which EMG merged in fall 2014), he has successfully managed the development and construction of national projects including big-box retail, in-line retail, restaurants, convenience stores, fuel delivery systems, banks, grocery stores, and office buildings.
Gus spent a significant part of his career at Texaco Refining and Marketing, Inc. (Texaco). As a Senior Engineer, he oversaw all aspects related to gasoline stations and bulk distribution facilities: design, permitting, equipment, procurement, and field construction. Additionally, Gus conducted financial analysis for new business ventures and acquisitions, working to determine the return on investment on purchases and joint ventures.
While Gus is well versed in all areas of construction services management, clients benefit specifically from his extensive knowledge of land development issues, including entitlements and permitting. His ability to analyze issues before they arise and navigate the complicated and lengthy processes ensures that projects continue to move forward and remain within budget. Gus’s mechanical engineering background also is an advantage, providing him the ability to evaluate designs and offer valuable recommendations that can lead to significant cost savings for EMG clients.


Matthew Munter
Executive VP of Sales
Mr. Munter, a graduate of Clemson University, is a licensed Mechanical Engineer in Maryland with 30 years of experience. He has managed comprehensive environmental and property condition due diligence services for government and private sector entities. Mr. Munter joined EMG in 1998 as Vice President, Government Services. He also held the position of Director of EMG’s Real Estate Due Diligence Division during which time he managed the operations of EMG’s environmental and property condition business in support of facility assessments nationwide. In 2001 Mr. Munter was promoted to Senior Vice President, Government Services.
Now Executive VP of Sales, Mr. Munter is responsible for all activities where EMG acts as prime consultant, sub consultant, or supplier on government and public sector contracts. He customizes EMG’s services to meet the needs of many government agencies such as HUD, FHA, and the SBA. Responsible for contract negotiations with vendors and subcontractors that support government operations, Mr. Munter also coordinates the development of products and procedures that meet market needs and comply with applicable standards and regulations. He ensures the quality of deliverables and conformance with contractual obligations.


Jessica Rogers
Executive VP of Finance
As Executive Vice President of Finance for EMG, Jessica Rogers is responsible for strategic planning and leadership of the Accounting and Finance, Human Resources and IT departments. Jessica also acts in a similar capacity for NVT Technologies Inc., acquired by EMG in December 2012.
Ms. Rogers has over 15 years of experience in corporate accounting, beginning at DMW, an Architectural and Engineering design firm, and continuing with 180s, a product design and manufacturing firm. In 2003, 180s earned Inc. Magazine’s “9th Fastest Growing Company in the US”, having grown from $3 million to $47 million in 5 years. During this time Ms. Rogers was responsible for full general ledger accounting, month-end close, consolidated financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders, budgeting, and external financial audits for domestic and foreign operations. She was a “Power User” of their MRP system, and worked with the 180s IT team to develop solutions for management decision making.
Jessica has a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Towson University, and an MBA from Loyola College.


Aliza Stern
Executive VP of Sales
Ms. Stern came to EMG in 2001 as the managing director, managing key client relationships and projects. Her client list is a “who’s who” of institutional real estate lenders and owners. She has been part of many of the largest industry projects in recent years.
Aliza has worked with every asset type and is involved with her clients’ projects in a consulting and problem solving capacity. She routinely participates in strategy sessions with clients to assist in determining needs and further provide assistance in determining solutions in matters pertaining to specific projects.
Aliza started her real estate career as an environmental attorney. In that capacity she was involved with environmental insurance cases. Aliza quickly found her way to the development side of the industry and has held a variety of positions working for a national developer of historic and affordable housing projects. Aliza was responsible for raising equity, financing, acquisition, renovation and more.


Cliff Stout
Senior Account Manager
Cliff Stout oversees Survey and Zoning projects for EMG. He has been involved in surveying since 1992 with expertise in Land Title Surveys, and Zoning due diligence. EMG’s Survey and Zoning services encompass consulting on, and coordinating ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys and Zoning Reports across the country for single and multi-site transactions.
Cliff has performed numerous Land Title Surveys across the country. He has experience with the latest electronic equipment including Global Positioning Systems (GPS). His experience includes Survey review, boundary analysis, office and field procedures on commercial, residential, and subdivision design.
Cliff served as President of Smith-Roberts National Corporation, the nationwide Land Title Survey coordination firm which merged with EMG in May 2016. Cliff is based in the Oklahoma City office.
Cliff holds his graduate degree in Business Administration from Southern Nazarene University and his Associates degree in Surveying Technology from Oklahoma State University. Cliff recently served at OSU as Adjunct Associate Professor and currently sits on the Academic Advisory Committee at OSU. He is licensed to practice land surveying in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Colorado, and California.
Cliff is an active member of the Oklahoma Society of Land Surveyors where he has served as a Board Member and is a member of the National Society of Professional Surveyors. He has been appointed to a Joint Task Force of the Oklahoma Society of Land Surveyors (OSLS) and the State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors to promote public awareness and improve the profession of land surveying.


Chris Varney
Executive VP of Sales
Chris Varney is an Executive Vice President of Sales for EMG Corp. He is responsible for business development in several industry segments, and has experience leading construction project managers and assisting retail, restaurant, banks, grocery stores, office buildings, and convenience store clients with managing national programs.
Chris has over 20 years of construction management experience in new concept and national expansion roll-out programs as both an owner’s representative and as a general contractor. Chris is responsible for overseeing well over 3,000 nationwide projects and programs annually, with values ranging from $2K to $100MM.
Prior to joining Quality Project Management, LLC, the company with which EMG merged in fall, 2014, Chris served as a senior construction manager with Parkway Construction, where he completed more than 300 projects for national and regional restaurant, retail, and convenience store chains including McDonald’s, Wells Fargo, Furr’s Cafeterias, BJ’s Restaurant, Mobil Oil, Texaco, and 24-Hour Fitness. His career also includes the role of regional construction manager for Mobil Oil, Circle K Convenience Stores, and U.S. Restaurant Properties, managing new construction, remodels, facility projects, and environmental projects and programs.

Claudette Anderson Scheetz

Claudette Anderson
Regional Vice President, Southeast
Claudette Anderson Scheetz brings over a decade of national business development and relationship management experience with her to EMG as Regional Vice President of Sales, Southeast.
She attended the University of South Florida from 2010 to 2012 pursuing her Master’s Degree in Counselor Education, and also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from The University of Akron in 2007. Ms. Anderson’s primary duties include structuring and negotiating business proposals, facilitating transactions and project management, and sourcing new business.
Jim Bartlett

Jim Bartlett
Senior Vice President
Jim Bartlett joined EMG in 1997 and managed sales regions in New York and the Western U.S. prior to his current role as a Senior Vice President based at EMG’s corporate office. Jim has over 25 years of consulting experience specializing in transactional due diligence, facility condition assessments, property/asset management, capital expenditure planning, construction project management, protocol development, and training. He is Vice-Chairman of the ASTM Committee E50.02 on Environmental Assessment, Risk Management and Corrective Action; and serves as Co-Chairman/Technical Contact for the ASTM E3026-15 Visual Moisture Assessment (VMA) Standard Guide.
Jim currently manages EMG’s relationship with a select group of top clients and strategic accounts including several industrial/office/retail/health care REITs, capital market lenders, life companies, investment advisors, and others. He is also a frequent speaker and trainer for EMG’s clients, employees, and industry trade groups.
Chris Berrich

Chris Berrich
Senior Vice President
Chris Berrich joined EMG in 1998 and managed the Mid-Atlantic sales region prior to his current role as Senior Vice President of Sales. He brings over 20 years of industry experience specializing in environmental assessments, property condition assessments, asset management, construction services, and other due diligence services. Chris is based at the EMG corporate office in Owings Mills, MD.
Chris currently manages EMG’s relationship with a select group of clients including hospitality, senior housing/office/retail/multifamily owners and operators, agency lenders, capital market lenders, investment advisors, and others. Chris has handled many complex transactions including portfolio projects, and very large assets with multiple services. He understands the intricacies of client needs related to acquisitions, financing, and management of the assets.
Chris has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Baltimore in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing.
Blake Brosa

Blake Brosa
Senior Vice President
Blake Brosa is a Senior Vice President of Sales with EMG, responsible for expanding services with new and existing clients across the country, and ensuring that the most effective, efficient, and consistent processes are designed and implemented to meet their needs throughout the real estate life cycle. Brosa was previously a Senior Project Manager with EMG. Prior to that, he enjoyed a six-year tenure with the nation’s second largest discount retailer. During his first year there, he became the company’s youngest Owner’s Site Representative. After successfully managing numerous merchant and facilities-driven construction programs as a Project Manager, Brosa was selected to lead a three-year engagement to develop and implement industry-leading strategic sourcing and negotiation practices for purchasing architectural, engineering, construction, facilities, and corporate real estate professional services. By 2015, he had been named Manager of Construction, singled out to cultivate relationships with store operations senior management and to lead teams advancing key strategic initiatives and projects.
Brosa earned his bachelor’s degree in Construction Science and Management from Kansas State University and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management in Organization Management and Leadership.
Jeff Fox

Mr. Fox joined EMG in 2007 as an Architectural & Engineering Project Manager and quickly moved up the ranks within the Asset Management team. Jeffrey’s field experience in the areas of evaluation and assessment of life cycle cost and management needs provides valuable insight as he now takes on the role of Project Executive for EMG’s Asset Management programs including Physical Needs Assessments, Facility Condition Assessments, Energy Audits, ADA Assessments and Capital Planning Applications including EMG’s own AssetCALCTM. Working with Federal, State, and Local Governments, Housing Authorities, K-12 & Higher Education entities and Private Industry owners, Mr. Fox has the primary responsibility for defining scopes of engagement and meets regularly with the Program Managers and project teams to ensure client needs are being met and projects are running smoothly and on schedule.

Kimble Fife

Kimble Fife
Vice President of Government Assisted Programs
Kimble Fife joined EMG in 1995 and is currently the Vice President of Government Assisted Programs. Kimble has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, specializing in residential and healthcare properties. She works with various lenders, mortgage bankers, developers, owners, and property management firms that are seeking funding through the various HUD Mortgage Insurance programs, USDA Rural Development Multifamily Preservation Programs, Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac programs, Tax Credits/Tax Exempt Bond programs, as well as state/government funded “Green” programs. Kimble represents EMG at the regional HUD Lending Conferences and other Housing conferences throughout the U.S. She is based in our Corporate Headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland.
Kevin Knox

Kevin Knox
Vice President of Sales
Kevin Knox brings over two decades of national business development, sales, and sales management experience as Vice President of Sales in the Asset Management division with a focus in the hospital and healthcare market.
Kevin spent the last decade in a national facility maintenance and project management capacity working with multiple retail headquarters managing programs for thousands of locations with a national footprint. Core facility maintenance competencies include: HVAC, lighting & electrical, signage, plumbing, preventive maintenance, and asset and project management services.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interpersonal & Public Communications from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH and a Master of Public Administration from Boise State University in Boise, ID.
Jason Myers

Jason Myers
Regional Vice President, West
Jason Myers is a Regional Vice President of Sales for EMG, working with clients in the Western Region. Based in San Francisco, CA, Mr. Myers is responsible for business development, including environmental and engineering assessments, and project management services to EMG’s commercial real estate investment, owner, operator, and lending clients. With over 16 years of sales experience supporting the environmental, and property due diligence markets, he brings additional depth to EMG supporting clients across all commercial real estate types.
Prior to joining EMG, he was a regional sales manager for one of the largest US based analytical laboratories for environmental testing services. He was responsible for management of sales activities and strategy for their CO and CA based laboratories. Mr. Myers was an individual contributor managing top accounts within the Department of Defense (DOD), oil and gas upstream/midstream, and consulting and engineering markets. Mr. Myers held various sales positions for a national leader in US environmental information services where he managed accounts across multiple markets, including environmental, professional, lender, corporate, legal, and government.
Myers holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Leisure Resource Facilities Management from Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont.
John Ott
John Ott
Senior Vice President of Sales
John Ott is responsible for business development and management of the Project Management Division of EMG. With over 25 years of construction and project management experience, John works with the Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing to build and maintain relationships integral to the acquisition of new clients, projects, and programs.
Prior to joining EMG, John specialized in business development for a large multinational construction management firm, supporting their Multi-site Group in its client development activities. His professional background also includes owning and operating a successful general construction company. In addition, John’s project management background with Fifth Third Bank, the 23rd largest U.S. bank, provides him the depth of retail experience to understand the challenges faced by his clients. While at the bank he was actively involved in acquisitions, conversions, real estate, new construction, and remodeling. His responsibilities included delivering quality retail projects with minimal capital requirements, and building key stakeholder relations.
John’s expert understanding of construction project/program management allows him to build consensus among internal and external teams and bring projects to successful completion. Clients will benefit from John’s experience in multi-site, retail channel development and account leadership. He is entrepreneurially-minded and highly motivated, and is able to implement strategies that impact organizations with positive results.
Erik Piller

Erik Piller is a Senior Vice President for EMG who works with clients in the Western States. He has over 25 years of sales and marketing experience, – including extensive experience in client coordination of facility condition assessment, ADA evaluations, and energy audits for Government, Educational, Public Housing, Affordable Housing, and Private Sector clients. For the past 15 years he has worked for architectural engineering firms that provided building science consulting, forensic investigations, energy efficiency evaluations, and asset management services.
Ken Sliter

Ken Sliter
Senior Vice President
Ken Sliter is a Senior Vice President of Sales with EMG, responsible for expanding services with new and existing clients across the country, and ensuring that the most effective, efficient, and consistent processes are designed and implemented to meet their needs throughout the real estate life cycle. Ken was previously a Senior Project Manager with EMG with a 14-year tenure with some of the biggest names in retail, petroleum, and the restaurant industry. Ken successfully managed open store remodel, exterior refresh, and numerous capital improvement projects including: full store painting, restroom remodels, breakroom/training room remodels, HVAC replacements, fire safety system replacements, security system replacements, lighting upgrades and other facilities-driven construction programs ranging in project value of $40K-$450K per site across all 50 states and Puerto Rico.
Ken is known for his exemplary communication skills across client organizations and within EMG. He excels in the cultivation of relationships with store operations senior management, architects, client teams, general contractors, and training and guiding project management teams in all aspects of the project lifecycle.
Ken earned his bachelor’s degree in Human Performance from San Jose State University.
Bart Sobieralski

Bart Sobieralski
Regional Vice President
Bart Sobieralski, Regional Vice President of Sales with EMG, is responsible for business development in the Greater New York City and New England markets. Sobieralski provides environmental and engineering assessment services to commercial real estate companies, along with project management services. Sobieralski previously served as Regional Vice President of a full-range professional consulting and construction services organization, which concentrates its efforts on the design and construction needs of the financial, commercial, and residential industries. In this role, he developed new business opportunities within the financial industry throughout New York, New Jersey, and New England. Prior to that, he was an Accountant Executive for the Northeast Region at a leading analytical laboratory for environmental testing services, and a Regional Sales Manager for a national leader in U.S. environmental information services.
Sobieralski earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut.
Jason Swam

Jason Swam
Account Executive
Jason Swam joined EMG in 2006 working in technical management and client delivery on environmental research, and portfolio logistics. Jason moved into his current role in Sales as an Account Executive, specializing in real estate due diligence, environmental and engineering site work, hazardous material surveys, and property research. Jason is based at the EMG corporate office in Owings Mills, MD.
Jason develops and maintains client relations, communicating project milestones, presenting realistic cost and delivery of consulting services, contract negotiations, proposal writing, and project planning.
Jason attended Salisbury University and Towson University, majoring in Secondary Education with a focus in History and Psychology.
Lisa Wells

Lisa Wells
Regional Vice President, Midwest
Ms. Wells began her career in the commercial lending industry in 1992. She currently supports the needs of EMG’s Midwestern-based clients. She has worked in many facets of the environmental engineering consulting realm, from coordinating site visits to managing multisite portfolio deals, for transactional due diligence and hazardous materials inspections.
Ms. Wells has managed Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Property Condition Assessments (PCAs), and further assessment/remedial services for properties located throughout the United States. Working with real estate owners and investors, she has managed more than 2,000 projects since the early 1990s.
Ms. Wells works closely with her clients to ensure proper protocol adherence and on-time project completion.
Prior to joining EMG in the Fall of 2014, Ms. Wells worked with a national environmental consulting and remediation contracting firm based in the Midwest. She is also an active member of CREW Chicago.
Mike Zets

Mike Zets
Account Executive
Michael Zets joined EMG in 2010 as a Field Management Coordinator, and in 2012 he was promoted to Account Executive of Inside Sales. In this role, he acts as a liaison between EMG and clients by communicating the statuses of clients’ proposals and projects to all related parties. Mr. Zets develops EMG’s sales strategy by identifying, researching, and analyzing new and existing clients, as well as gaining an understanding of current and future market trends for the commercial real estate industry. He also manages transactional assessments and equity level engineering investigations including building systems analysis, invasive testing, and consulting. Specializing in due diligence, environmental site characterization and remediation, asset management consulting, hazardous materials surveys, feasibility studies, and an extensive array of environmental and engineering consulting services, Mr. Zets has particular expertise in the ASTM E1527-13 Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I ESA Process, ASTM E2018-15 Property Condition Assessments: Baseline Property Condition Assessment Process, ASTM E2026-07 / E2557-07 Standard Guide: Seismic Risk Assessment of Buildings, and various related topics. Based in Baltimore, Maryland, Mr. Zets excels in delivering outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions.
Mr. Zets holds a bachelor of science degree from Youngstown State University in Exercise Science.

Burk Cornelius

Burk Cornelius

Burk Cornelius has been involved in Land Surveying since 1980. He has experience in boundary disputes and resolution, commercial surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys and project coordination as well as title and records research. Burk also has extensive experience in subdivision design and layout.
Burk has managed numerous multi-site, multi-state real estate transactions from fast food restaurants to shopping centers. He is now responsible for writing specifications, coordinating and reviewing Land Title Surveys for these types of real estate deals.
Burk served as Vice President of Smith-Roberts National Corporation, the nationwide Land Title Survey coordination firm which merged with EMG in May 2016. Burk is based in the Oklahoma City office.
Burk received his Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma State University in 1983. Burk worked his way through college while employed as a surveyor and draftsman for a Land Surveying/Civil Engineering firm.
He is an active member of the Oklahoma Society of Land Surveyors and is the Past-President of that organization. Burk is involved with Oklahoma State University Surveying Program, where he serves as adjunct instructor. He is also a member of the National Society of Professional Surveyors, where he served one term as the Governor representing the State of Oklahoma. He has served on the investigative committee for the Oklahoma State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Burk is licensed to practice Land Surveying in Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas.

Mark Walker has been involved in Land Surveying since 1986. He has experience in boundary disputes and resolution, field data processing, design ready surveys, commercial surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys and project coordination as well as title and records research. Mark spent six years on a survey crew. Additionally, he has accumulated experience as a surveying and engineering technician.
Mark has managed numerous multi-site, multi-state real estate transactions from apartment complexes to shopping centers. He is responsible for coordinating and reviewing Land Title Surveys for these types of transactions
Mark served as Vice President of Smith-Roberts National Corporation, the nationwide Land Title Survey coordination firm which merged with EMG in May 2016. Mark is based in the Oklahoma City office.
Mark graduated from Oklahoma State University with an Associate Degree in Land Surveying. Mark worked his way through college while employed as a field surveyor and draftsman. Mark acquired his Professional Land Surveyor license in October of 2006. He is an active member of the Oklahoma Society of Land Surveyors, ICSC, and the National Society of Professional Surveyors.
