EMG was engaged by The Blackstone Group to provide engineering and environmental due diligence services, which included Property Condition Assessments, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, and Seismic Risk Analyses, on large shopping center properties across the United States. Our client required that all work be completed within a 4-week time frame. Our integrated and scalable operational processes and technologies, as well as our national team of subject matter experts and project managers, made EMG uniquely qualified to get the job done.


EMG scheduled 180 site visits within 4 days in order to start site visits immediately. During the performance of the site visits and research, EMG communicated closely with our client in order to identify any property issues early in the process, provide the costs to resolve, and consult with our client on different strategies to work through property concerns. Our ability to provide real-time property insight facilitated our client’s decision-making process and helped to maintain the aggressive time schedule. EMG delivered all 180 reports to the client within 20 business days of receiving the signed contract.
