Ritz-Carlton Constructs New Residences in Waikiki Beach

EMG’s reputation for nationwide, in-house technical expertise, coupled with our extensive knowledge of high-rise building codes, challenges, and post-tension construction, made us the leading choice to provide construction monitoring services on this massive 38-story, three-year, $210MM (hard cost) high-rise tower. The first component of what will be a multi-building luxury resort complex, the main tower, will be comprised of private residences, hotel, retail, and restaurant space, and onsite parking.


Two years into the project, EMG continues to go “above and beyond,” providing our expertise and delivering consistent, on-time, objective reports. We are also flexible in our ability to customize our offering for our client’s specific needs. Not only do we perform the traditional monthly reviews of hard costs such as labor, materials, and subcontractors, but we also review the soft costs associated with design, management, legal fees, and marketing. In addition, having a Registered Architect located in Hawaii ensures travel expenses related to EMG’s work will remain minimal. The facility is slated to open in 2016, at which time we will fulfill our contract with the Closeout.
